July 01, 2010
The hugely popular and highly praised work from Hosseini has a great deal to recommend it: evil effects of war on one man's family, clash of culture, intriguing insights into a foreign culture. I can praise it, but am not as completely agog as some. I'll limit my coals-to-Newcastle to one lump.
